I had a geek childhood. Along with my favorite hobby with computer stuff was collecting manga style mecha assembly kits. And of course watching the Transformers animated series on SKY channel. Actually the SKY channel was first official satellite channels in Finland. We did not had satellite cable connection so I watched the Transformers when visiting my cousins.
I remember I must have been about 10 years old when there was some assembled
manga robot and hangar theme kit. In the same time I had the transformers animated movie poster.
That day the robot design was rather bulky and there was no sign of any doped up
models like there is in the new Transformers movie.
